Hair Now
I've been nostalgic for these barrettes for a while. And then, Ms. Spinach posted about a sighting here. When I was little my mom would put my hair in a rainbow twist (two-stranded French braid) and held it with some of these pretty much every day. I'm going to the craft store after school today to try to get the necessary supplies to make a few pairs. I dug up these instructions, and I think it'll be easy enough. Little kid style is a good kick off for summer, no?

OK, so I totally wore those in the 3rd grade. And better yet, I had bells tied to the end of the long ribbon that hung from them. It was probably really annoying to my classmates to hear jingling everytime I moved.
